What do you enjoy about the painting process?

1.  To let an atmosphere emerge.

2.  The chaos on the canvas, which through persistence during painting becomes something that is precisely formed.

3.  The connecting of various tempos on the surface: quickly with jabs or slowly worked out.

4.  The introspection during the working process: The fine line between empty perception of things on the one side an emotional charge on the other side.

5.  The concurrence of color as surface and color as transmission of meaning.
